Hospitality and Tourism Management
The Hospitality and Tourism Management Associate in Science (A.S.) degree at Valencia College is a two-year program that prepares you to go directly into a specialized career within the hospitality industry.
Not only is our program located in Orlando, one of the most popular tourist areas in the country, it also boasts a state-of-the-art facility—the Walt Disney World Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts, complete with a sophisticated computer lab equipped with a dynamic point-of-sale system and a hotel front desk simulation area. Valencia’s program combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training to help you move into supervisory and mid-management positions in lodging, food service, tourism and hospitality. One of the most valuable aspects of the program is the 405-hour internship, which enables you to develop skills and expertise in guest services and management, as well as technical areas.
